LIFETIME BARREL WARRANTY ON ALL CZ FIREARMS

CZ has more than 50 years of experience in the production of cold hammer forged barrels. This advanced method allows us to produce barrels with an extremely long service life and exceptional accuracy. At CZ, we firmly stand behind the quality of our products, which is why we have decided to offer our customers a lifetime, transferable warranty that covers the function and accuracy of the barrels we produce.

The warranty not only covers any unlikely manufacturing defects, but also the loss of accuracy during the lifetime of the CZ barrel. If your barrel displays manufacturing defects, or a reduction in accuracy, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge. In the event that repair or replacement is not possible, you will receive a credit voucher in the amount of the suggested retail price of the barrel.

Our highly precise cold hammer forging method, together with many years of know-how, allow us to produce barrels with tight tolerances, extremely smooth bores and precise rifling. The multi-forging process increases the strength, rigidity and stability of the barrel, more than doubling its service life compared to other technologies.

Ceska zbrojovka a.s., a manufacturer of high-quality firearms, is proud to offer a Lifetime Warranty (“Warranty”) on CZ® firearm barrels. We stand behind the craftsmanship and reliability of our products, and this Warranty reflects our commitment to your satisfaction.

Coverage

Function and Accuracy: The Warranty covers defects and the normal and expected accuracy of CZ® firearm barrels for the entire lifespan of the barrel subject to the conditions herein. If your CZ® firearm barrel exhibits defects or degradation in normal or expected accuracy, we will repair or replace it at no cost to you. If the barrel cannot be repaired or replaced, we will offer you a similar item at no charge, or a voucher in a value equal to the price of the barrel, as determined by Ceska zbrojovka in its sole discretion.

 

Firearm Enrollment Required

In order to be eligible for coverage under this Warranty, you must be a member of the CZ Customer Club and enroll your firearm with Ceska zbrojovka.  Activate your warranty by using QR code contained in the packaging of the firearm or visit https://club.czguns.com. Limitations

The Warranty must be activated online in the customer club platform (https://club.czguns.com) within 5 years from the last day of the production year of the firearm.

Barrel Finish Excluded: The Warranty does not cover the cosmetic aspects of the barrel finish. Normal wear and tear on the finish, including scratches and surface blemishes, are not covered. This Warranty is focused on ensuring the functional and accurate performance of the barrel.

Professional-Use Firearms Excluded: The Warranty specifically excludes coverage for firearms owned and operated by professional law enforcement, military, or security services.  Issues related to the barrels of these firearms are not covered under this Warranty and are subject to specific warranty conditions.

 

Conditions

This Warranty is transferable. The Warranty is subject to proper use, care, and maintenance of the firearm as outlined in the Ceska zbrojovka user manual for the firearm. Any modifications or alterations to the barrel not authorized by Ceska zbrojovka may void this Warranty.

 

Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover damage, defects, or loss of accuracy resulting directly or indirectly from:

 

• Accidents, misuse, neglect, carelessness, or abuse
• Failure to follow recommended maintenance procedures
• Use of improper or non-standard ammunition
• Failure to follow safe and proper handling and shooting practices
• Unauthorized repairs, adjustments, modifications or alterations
• Force Majeure events (including but not limited to fire, storms, floods and earthquake)

Any such actions or events shall void the Warranty. The Warranty does not cover lost or stolen products or products on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed. The Warranty also does not cover indirect or consequential damages or losses. The Warranty is ONLY applicable worldwide, excluding the territory of USA.

Ceska zbrojovka reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the Warranty at any time and at its sole discretion. Ceska zbrojovka also reserves the right to determine the validity of warranty claims on a case-by-case basis. All services covered by this Warranty shall only be performed by Ceska zbrojovka or a third-party designed by Ceska zbrojovka. No individual or entity other than Ceska zbrojovka possesses the right or authority to alter the obligations, limitations, disclaimers, or exclusions under this Warranty.

CESKA ZBROJOVKA’S LIABILITY FOR POTENTIAL BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER CESKA ZBROJOVKA WARRANTY SHALL BE LIMITED TO REPLACING OR REPAIRING THE NONPERFORMING OR DEFECTIVE GOODS (TO BE DETERMINED AT CESKA ZBROJOVKA’S SOLE DISCRETION). CESKA ZBROJOVKA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, DIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL.

All item(s) subject to this Warranty must first be received and evaluated by the service partner of Ceska zbrojovka before a repair or replacement will be authorized. Within the Warranty claim process, the customer is required to strictly comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the field of firearms use, storage and treatment. ALL FIREARMS MUST BE FULLY UNLOADED PRIOR TO HAND OVER to the service partner of Ceska zbrojovka. No ammunition should be shipped to the service partner of Ceska zbrojovka as part of the Warranty process. Under no circumstances shall the service partner of Ceska zbrojovka and/or Ceska zbrojovka be responsible for any loss or damage to products in transit.

This Warranty gives you specific rights, and you also may have other local consumer rights, especially per Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights. Your statutory consumer rights are not restricted by this Warranty.
