CZ sport pistols triumph at the ME IPSC in Belgrade, Serbia
In the Production Division, the clear winner was the CZ Shadow 2 pistol which took the top three places. Eric Grauffel became the European Champion, Ljubiša Momčilovič won silver and with a minimal loss on the second place, Maria Gushchina closely followed with a bronze medal, beating 316 male competitors. In addition, Maria became the European Champion in the Lady Production Division, by a very large margin. Seven out of the top ten shooters used the CZ Shadow 2, which confirms the absolute dominance of this pistol in the Production category.
In the up and coming Production Optics Division, Andrej Hrnčiarik came third with the CZ Shadow 2 OR pistol which also garnered great success in the hands of Martin Kameníček, a nonfactory shooter who won the European Championship title in this division.
In the Standard Division, the shining star was the CZ 75 TS ORANGE, winning the Championship title in the hands of Josef Rakušan, with Zdeněk Liehne getting bronze.
In the OPEN Lady, Martina Šerá became the European Champion with a CZ 75 TS CZECHMATE. And in the OPEN Division, Robin Šebo got a silver medal in overall scoring with a minimal loss of points on the winner.
