A popular design with an American-style varnished stock and thick-walled 525 mm barrel, which makes it ideal for accurate sport shooting and hunting at medium to long distances. The proven 11 mm CZ dovetail is milled into the top of the receiver for attaching riflescope ringmounts.

This model is also available as a left-handed version.

Purchased a CZ 457 Varmint in 17 HMR in Spring 2021. Am pleased with this rifle in every way. Fit, finish, and function is superb. Beautiful wood stock. In my opinion, incredible value for the $$. I was so impressed with it when I received it that I ordered the 22 WMR barrel kit for it as well. Voila! For a $180 expenditure, I now have a 22 mag as well. 17 HMR is a bit more accurate than the 22 mag, as expected. Thank you for your attention to detail.
